About Us

Our Company

For many years, the founders of DRS Home Loans had been working with relocating doctors to find the right home financing that would meet their needs.  They noticed that many doctors, especially new doctors just graduating from Medical school and those in residency, had difficulties in qualifying for a home loan.

Having a  high debt-to-income ratio and limited funds for a downpayment was a typical scenario that posed many challenges for most lenders including all standard Fannie Mae loans. Most new doctors could not qualify for the best rates given the type of loan they need.

In response, they designed The Doctor Home Loan to help new doctors by clearing hurdles such as high debt ratios, and few assets which would disqualify of them from traditional loans.

Through this unique mortgage for doctors, we can offer a home loan that does not count your full student loans against you, allows for higher debt-to-income ratios, requires zero down payment with no PMI, and allows you to qualify based on your new income months before you even begin your new job.
